My Hometown Bugaba

Hello everyone!
Today I want to take you to my hometown: Bugaba, a lively district full of nature and tradition in the province of Chiriquí, Panama.

📍 Where is Bugaba?

Bugaba is located in western Panama, within the province of Chiriquí. Its capital town is La Concepción, a very active place full of commerce and daily life.

🌱 Nature and Landscapes

Bugaba is known for its natural beauty: rivers, waterfalls, and its closeness to the highlands like Cerro Punta and the Barú Volcano. Agriculture plays a key role here, with fresh vegetables, flowers, and crops that supply the whole country.

🎉 Culture and Traditions

In Bugaba, people enjoy horse parades, fairs, and folk dances. The community celebrates patron saint festivities and local events that reflect unity and joy. Everywhere you go, you’ll find a warm and festive atmosphere.

🛒 Local Life

Walking through the market is an experience: fresh fruits, regional vegetables, and handicrafts like the famous cutarras (traditional sandals). It’s the perfect spot to feel the town’s essence.

🚍 How to get there

From David, the nearest city, you can reach Bugaba by car or bus in about one hour. The road is simple and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

💖 My personal connection

For me, Bugaba is not just a place on the map: it’s my home, the place where I grew up, made fri and every smile makes me proud to say: this is my hometown, and lived unforgettable moments.
